While we don’t normally like to brag, one of the things we are most proud of is our staff. Led by BNS Founder Nathan Schultz, a former professional skier who represented the United States in the World Cup; the wealth of knowledge in our ranks is hard to match elsewhere. Cumulatively, the BNS staff has a total of five NCAA All-American honors and members of seven different NCAA National Champion ski teams. Alone, BNS Race Service Director David Chamberlain has represented the United States at three different World Championships and has won the overall Super Tour twice. 70% of BNS staffers have ski raced at the collegiate level.

Apart for athletic superlatives, our service team has worked at the Olympics, World Cup, World Championships, NCAA Championships, Masters World Cup, US Masters Championships, US National Championships, Super Tour and countless loppets and marathons.

Though we are proud of where we have been, we are always learning, testing and striving to provide the best knowledge, service and products. We look forward to sharing our passion for sport and love of skiing with our customers. At BNS, we are committed to providing “World Cup service for everyone,” whether you are a National Team member, first-time skate skier, or side country tourer.

One of the most valuable ways we learn about equipment is getting it out on snow. Testing skis, stone grind patterns, waxes, boots, poles and clothing is a huge part of what we do and we make it a priority at BNS. Every year we close down the shop and bring ALL of our staff to test out the gear from our vendors. In addition to the two days we spend on snow there, we have an extensive fleet of demo equipment that we are constantly testing ourselves so we know what works and how different equipment will suit different people.
